HISTORY OF EMERY STONES

From the dawn of mankind, Men used stones to survive in his natural habitat.Men classified the stones according the their hardness in nature and used as hunting tools to hunt animals. Men used hardest stones to carve softer stones and in time used them for arts. In later periods Men discovered grinding stones and used those stones for grinding and polishing. After 1860 men used grindling particals and powders which is the core elements of emery stone with clay. First abrasive stones are used in lathes for polishing and calibrating the steal. All the same abrasive particules are used in disc felts for grinding sharper tools.

 
Within time grinding stones are used in casting and hot caste to clearify roughness and burrs. Today Emery stones are the shining stars of the industy, They are widely used in many surfaces and applications.
